Project Office
Duties and responsibilities
· Plan, coordinate, and implement project activities in line with organizational goals.
· Mobilize community members and beneficiaries to participate in project initiatives.
· Liaise with stakeholders, including local government, NGOs, and donors.
· Ensure timely reporting and documentation of project activities and impact.
· Support the development of project proposals and fundraising initiatives.
· Identify challenges in project implementation and propose solutions.
· Ensure that activities align with the needs of vulnerable communities in slums.
· Supervise field staff and ensure adherence to work plans and targets.
· Manage project budgets and resources efficiently.
Communications Officer
Duties and responsibilities
· Develop and implement a communications strategy to enhance the NGO’s visibility.
· Create content for social media, newsletters, press releases, and donor reports.
· Manage the NGO’s website and ensure regular updates on activities and success stories.
· Engage with media houses and journalists to promote the organization’s work.
· Document impact stories, take photos/videos, and manage branding materials.
· Coordinate advocacy campaigns and community engagement initiatives.
· Ensure donor branding guidelines are adhered to in all communication materials.
· Train staff on communication strategies, media engagement, and social media use.
Social Workers
Duties and responsibilities
· Conduct home visits to assess the needs of vulnerable families and individuals.
· Provide psychosocial support and counseling to beneficiaries, including women and children.
· Facilitate referrals to healthcare, education, legal, and protection services with the support of the Executive director.
· Mobilize and sensitize communities on issues such as child protection, gender-based violence, and HIV/AIDS.
· Support vulnerable women in forming and strengthening Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA).
· Work closely with project officers and M&E teams to document case studies and success stories.
· Writing reports to donors and support in the data collection.
· Conduct follow-ups to ensure sustained impact and continued support for beneficiaries.
· Organize training and livelihood support activities to empower slum communities.
Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer
Duties and responsibilities
· Develop and implement M&E frameworks to track project progress and impact.
· Design tools for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
· Conduct baseline, midline, and endline assessments to measure project effectiveness.
· Train field staff and social workers on data collection and documentation.
· Ensure compliance with donor reporting requirements.
· Analyze and interpret data to inform project adjustments and decision-making.
· Write M&E reports for internal and external stakeholders.
· Support learning and adaptation within the organization by providing evidence-based recommendations.
· Ensure that beneficiary feedback is incorporated into project improvements.
Agronomist
Duties and responsibilities
· Oversee daily farm operations, including poultry, crop management, and general maintenance.
· Ensure proper feeding, watering, and health monitoring of animals (poultry, pigs etc.).
· Maintain records on farm production, animal health, and input usage.
· Implement sustainable farming practices to improve productivity.
· Supervise farmworkers and provide training on best agricultural practices.
· Coordinate with suppliers for farm inputs such as feeds, fertilizers, and veterinary drugs.
· Monitor farm equipment and ensure proper maintenance and repairs.
· Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and environmental standards.
· Support agricultural extension activities, including training for beneficiaries in farming techniques.
· Assist in budgeting, stock management, and market linkages for farm produce.
