Agri-preneurship

MPI supports different agricultural activities on Ssonde farm, a small village in Misindye Parish in Mukono District. The farm primarily focuses on urban and extensive horticulture, poultry, piggery, and rabbit production. Through various projects and partnerships, we train youths and students in these value chains to promote employable skills in agri-preneurship.

Production for Welcoming house

MPI Ssonde Mixed Farm is a hub of learning and sustainability. We not only provide agricultural training for the youth but also ensure food security for the children at the welcoming house. Our farm produces a variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, and poultry, which we share with the children. To foster a deeper connection to nature and promote self-sufficiency, we also allow the children to raise birds and rabbits from the farm at the welcoming house.
